Located in the rugged mountains of East San Diego County, Garden Art of San Diego brings you unique copper garden art. Comfortable in your garden or home, our copper art is designed and handcrafted in our barn overlooking the beautiful Campo valley.
We started “Garden Art” 9 years ago as a fun project for family gifts. We started using some of the designs Kurt used with his woodworking & Kim used with her crosstich. It was fun going to scrap yards to find all the copper to piece together some of the large critters. Everyone was so happy with our gifts; we decided to try it as a business. First doing small local crafts shows. The response was overwhelming. We are now selling our copper critters to gift shops and nurseries throughout the U.S. We share a studio in Spanish Village (Balboa Park) and our critters are traveling to places like Australia, England, Holland & New Zealand. It’s been very exciting and we are enjoying spending more time together.
